California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger is urging fellow Republican politicians to seize the “middle ground” on the important issues such as healthcare reform and education ahead of next year’s election.

Schwarzenegger, who manages to enjoy widespread support in an overwhelmingly liberal state, is hoping that fellow GOP party members heed his advice. I’d love for Dems and every politician to heed his advice.

“Interesting how it takes a man born in a foreign country to show the Republican party how to act and what their positions are really for, just goes to show you how differently people view their positions in Congress when they did not grow up with a government like ours and don’t take it for granted or view their position as a vehicle for advancement. I wonder how long it will take that Fear Mongering party to start bashing him and calling him a fake Republican??

It’s true and something I’ve been spouting off about for a long while now. If we had more moderates we would have a better country. Partisan politics usually just means there is nothing done at all.
