NBC is silencing Mike Gravel, not being allowed at upcoming Debate

Mike Gravel will not be part of the next Democratic presidential debate, October 30 in Philadelphia. The former Alaska senator did not meet fund raising and polling requirements for the forum, said NBC News political director Chuck Todd.
It’s wrong. Anyone seriously running for president deserves equal time and it is something that is seriously wrong with the current system. Independent candidates are of course familiar with this problem already, but it’s nice to see it’s universal.
In a nutshell: Those who don’t have a snowballs chance in hell of winning still shape the debate and can help steer the debate in a direction where hard questions are actually asked.
